Short lenses are best

Some people say to make your lens as long as possible; fill it to the brim with information, facts, your personal opinions, everyone else’s opinions and anything else you can think of. Most people would say that a lot of unique, keyword rich content makes a good lens.

They’re wrong.

Sometimes the best way to say what you want is to keep it short and there’s nothing worse than a lens that’s too long. Mae West once said:

A man can be short and dumpy and getting bald but if he has fire, women will like him.

In the same light, your lens can be short and stout; but if the message has “fire”, it’ll still be great.

Harry Potter Musical

A Very Potter Musical

With the global popularity of the Harry Potter series, it’s no wonder that it’s resulted in a plethora of fan fiction and other fan made tributes. A Very Potter Musical was a musical made by a small student theater company in 2009. The play used aspects from all of the Harry Potter books, starting at the beginning of the second year.

The small group of University of Michigan students, called Team Starkid, who produced the musical would have never thought that their little musical would explode into worldwide fame after they posted it on YouTube.

This lens includes a cast list, lyrics for a song, funny quotes and the entire musical for your viewing pleasure.
